Microblading is a form of permanent makeup where hair-like strokes are manually etched into the top layer of skin with specific cosmetic ink, using a special hand tool containing a row of tiny needles. The purpose of the procedure is to fill in missing eyebrow hairs or sparse areas in the brow. It is meant to look more natural than past permanent makeup techniques that created a solid eyebrow.
The shape of the eyebrows is created by measuring the natural face structure of each client. The pigment color used is chosen by matching it to the client's natural hair color. The pain that is felt from the procedure is different for each person. Some clients experience no pain at all, while others feel a lot. For most, the pain is compared to plucking or waxing the eyebrow hairs. The pain can be worse for women who receive the treatment during their menstrual cycle.
The eyebrows may look thicker and darker after treatment until fully healed, which takes four to six weeks. Treatment success depends 50% on the artist and 50% on the client. Aftercare is EXTREMELY important. If it is not followed, there will be bad results no matter how good the artist is. Clients must be over the age of 18 unless approved and accompanied by parent(s)/legal guardian(s).

Phibrows Academy is known for having the best microblading training in the world. Her training master was Vesna Jugovic, who was named Grand Master of the World for Phibrows Academy in 2017.
When Brooke isn't doing eyebrows, she spends her time with family and friends, going to the movies, and attending concerts. She is currently working on getting certified in tattoo removal and brow shading.
Brooke truly cares about her clients and producing top quality results. The tools she uses are single use and disposable, to keep her work environment sanitary and her clients safe. She also uses the highest quality pigments that are currently available on the market. All of the colors that make up the pigments are equally stable, meaning the brow color will stay the same after healing and over time as it fades, unlike cheaper pigments. The pigments that Brooke uses are vegan friendly, not tested on animals, and hypoallergenic.
Lastly, the aftercare products that Brooke uses are simple, natural, and contain no preservatives. Some of the ingredients included are bees wax, royal jelly, honey, shea & cocoa butter, and avocado oil. You will be well taken care of as a client of Brooke's.
